For this collaborative workshop our idea was to turn the phrase “touch grass” into a positive campaign encouraging people to get outdoor more. The phrase is usually something that is used negatively and more of an insult as it is typically something a person says to another person if they play a game too much.
For this collaborative task we agreed that i would do the illustration side for the posters and Curtis would do the photography part for the background, the idea was to have a hand touching what would be a “pretty” landscape in the background and to create a series of these. These posters would then have phrases and messages on them telling people the benefits of going outdoors and encouraging them to do it more often.
To keep track of where we are both at we created a Figma page where we could both upload and work on the task at the same time and so we could leave feedback and add notes for one another once we posted something on there.
