When it came to storyboarding I started out with a rough sketch on paper so that I could create a quick and rough idea for how I wanted my animation to play out. My thought was to have each individual rock come falling from the sky to eventually form the full structure of Stonehenge to add a bit more to the animation and it not just been a flyby throughout the whole animation. As for my chosen subject I had to include a fly by my original idea was for my animation to fly around showing as much as possible showing each part from the front back and then from a Birdseye view. As the animation had to involve some sort of metamorphosis my idea was to have the actual rocks/cheese that formed Stonehenge all individually change into something else. My idea was to have the rocks change from their rocky shape and morph into blocks of city buildings. My idea behind this was to show the difference between the past and present and show how the world has changed.

Once I had a concrete idea I created a quick digital storyboard on illustrator so that I could give myself a more detailed look of how the scene could look by adding more colour to it and giving a basic idea of how each stage of the animation would look with colour applied. My idea for the morph to include a change from the rocks to city buildings on its own would seem a bit random and wouldn’t really make sense to the viewer as to why that happened, if it wasn’t made of cheese this may not of been the case but the addition of it having to be made from Swiss cheese would make it seem more random. To counter this and give my animation a bit more meaning I had the thought of the actual world the animation is set in being made from food, this way the animation makes a bit more sense to the viewer. I will add items to the scene that are also food such as apples and make them different colour to avoid the sense of repetition and also create trees that have leaves that are all bright vivid colours to make them seem either like ice cream on the top or like some sort of candy as the leaves will be low poly so will have more of a ball shape to them. I had the thought to end the scene with the camera moving zooming in on the moon rising, with the moon being made from cheese, this idea was to link to the many conspiracies from people that the moon is made from cheese.
